The most important factor that will help you stop binge eating is honesty. Without this foundation all other efforts will fail. No matter what else you do honesty is the best and first place you should start.

It is hard to understand this concept at first. You may have told yourself half truths for so long that you’re not aware of it. Most people who struggle with binge eating think, “I just liked food”! They do not realize that it is just a cover up for all the emotions that they don’t know how to deal with.
